Tucked away on a quiet back lane, Fishers’ Loft is a 4.5 star inn overlooking the harbour of Ship Cove. The Inn is a collection of structures which reflect the traditional architecture of Trinity Bay between 1850 and 1900. The buildings have been designed to ensure the visitor’s comfort.
Fishers’ Loft is located in Port Rexton, one of 12 picturesque outports dotted along the rugged coastline between New Bonaventure and English Harbour on Trinity Bay — the Trinity Bight.
The internationally renowned Skerwink Trail is on the Inn’s doorstep. A 5.3 km coastal, woodland trail, it has been named by Travel & Leisure Magazine among the top 10 hiking trails in Canada.
Fishers’ Loft’s licensed dining room looks out over the community of Port Rexton, the inn’s kitchen garden and greenhouse to Trinity Bay. In season, diners may see whales or icebergs.
The set menu is shaped by the availability of fresh produce from the kitchen garden and greenhouse, local fish and seafood in season, berries and mushrooms from surrounding hillside meadows and forests.

Andrea believes that yoga has the power to connect individuals to their breath, body, and mind, empowering them to heal and nurture their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Having personally experienced the transformative benefits of yoga, Andrea is passionate about sharing this gift with the world. Outside of teaching, you can often find her in nature, exploring the woods or the ocean with her two beloved four-legged friends, Winston and Phoebe—her ultimate place of peace and connection.
Danielle (Dani) Flynn is a certified yoga instructor and nature enthusiast who has a passion for movement, mindfulness, connection and adventures! She has been offering group yoga classes in and around her community of St. John’s, Newfoundland for over 10 years now, always striving to offer a lighthearted and centred approach to teaching. Dani aims to cultivate balance in her classes by guiding her students back to that cheerful playfulness from childhood & that peaceful grounded place within.
Her training is rooted in Vinyasa flow yoga (Sonic Yoga, 200 Hour YTT) with a focus on creative sequencing and advanced postures (Authentic Movements, 500 Hour YTT) and is beautifully balanced by additional training in Yin Yoga, Meditation, Reiki, Thai Yoga Massage and Neurogenic Yoga & TRE.
Outside of working and teaching, Dani can usually be found along the coastline of the rocky shores of Newfoundland, hiking or paddling with her little buddy, Fern (her dog) or cozied up at home with a good book, some wool, thread, paint or any other number of crafting materials – depending on the day!
When asked what she loves most about yoga… “The freedom that’s cultivated in body, mind and spirit, and being able to share that with other people, it’s a gift. One that I’m genuinely grateful for.”
